Best Time to Visit Kedarnath
In summers the average temperature in the region is around 17-degree centigrade. The summer months range from May-June and present tourists with a pleasant, cool climate ideal for sightseeing as well as Kedarnath Darshan.
The winters of Kedarnath are pretty chilly and accompanied by heavy snowfall which makes the place uninhabitable. During the Monsoons, ranging from July-September, the region becomes prone to landslides. There are occasional downpours with temperatures dropping down to near about 12-degree centigrade. The monsoon season at Kedarnath needs to be avoided as it makes the region risky enough.
